FUT Hero items are very scarce players that can be found in certain packs in Ultimate Team. FUT Hero cards are awarded to players who've been a major contributor to the club or are a cult favourite including the former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung.
Due to the item's incredibly rare, they're typically extremely expensive for FIFA 23 Ultimate team's online transfer marketplace, with some such as Yaya Toure being sold at 1.9 millions of FUT coins which a reputable third-party selling website estimates around PS400.
However, EA mistakenly released this pack and flooded the market with an overwhelming amount of these items and seeing all prices plummet rapidly Some players lost more than one million coins in value, or around PS200 when bought by a third party.
EA has yet to comment on the error. However, the damage on the market is long-lasting.
